Here in Kent & Medway local regulation teams (Environmental Health, Fire Brigade, Trading Standards, etc.) have led the way on a national initiative called Better Business for All (BBfA). This UK wide programme is supported by the Government and is a partnership designed to improve the way regulation is delivered to ease the burden on the local business community. Fundamentally it’s a programme that’s here to save you time and money and promote growth.

The Kent & Medway Growth Hub act as the single point of contact and can answer most of your enquiries, however the BBfA website has a wealth of localised information and guidance that you may find useful. Please, click on the logo for more information:

The BBfA Team have recently created a really useful  download that covers all of the information and contacts you need when starting up  business.
