Kent Business School, in partnership with Turner Contemporary, invites you to a Business Soundbites event, titled The Curiosity Cost which takes place on Wednesday 11 July from 17.00hrs onwards at Turner Contemporary in Margate.

Curiosity is the catalyst for change. In the art world this is an accepted paradigm. Through its We Are Curious education activities, Turner Contemporary encourages open-ended thinking and wondering questions through the concept of philosophical enquiry.

Businesses who wish to stay ahead of the game similarly need to encourage curiosity on the work floor and embrace a more meritocratic business model where employees actively engage in the direction of the company. But what structures, attitudes and behaviours prevent businesses from doing exactly that? How can we learn to recognise these and, more importantly, change them?

On Wednesday 11 July, we will explore the concept of The Curiosity Cost through two presentations by KBS lecturer Sideeq Mohamed and guest speaker Adam Papaphilipopoulos from business consultancy Reluctantly Brave, followed by an interactive workshop using the gallery space.

Learn to build a curious workforce and run a better business!
