If you are at the beginning of your journey in learning about and making more environmentally conscious choices – then this is the group for you. No prior knowledge or experience is required.
This is a positive and encouraging space to meet like-minded people, and get an insight into all the exciting initiatives and groups locally. If you are an existing local eco related group, or have an idea for a new initiative – this is the space to both share and test it out and find collaborators and participants.
Each event will follow the below format;
- An ‘open floor’ for everyone to get to know each other by both sharing any cool products/services/initiatives/groups they’ve experienced, and/or asking questions to see if the group can provide help, support or answers
- The opportunity for anyone to share a new idea/project/initiative they are working on – and ask for feedback and collaboration from the group.
- Group discussion around a specific environmental topic area or challenge; this is the opportunity to learn and/or participant in broadening the collective understanding of the wider issues and opportunities.
If you are looking to feel part of a supportive and inclusive community, while both learning and making positive steps and impact to address the climate challenge – this is the group for you.
If you have a new idea/initiative/project you’d like to share and develop with the group (and are open to feedback and collaboration) then please get in touch at thenextstepcollective@outlook.com
