If your business has fallen through the cracks of financial support, please look at the Gravesham discretionary grant scheme (ARG) which is providing £500 grants to any business severely impacted by the national restrictions between 05 Nov and 02 Dec, which can demonstrate ongoing fixed costs (non-salary) but does not occupy commercial premises! This might be a car loan through the business, ongoing supply contracts, ongoing website hosting or other regular marketing costs, and so on. I.e. any costs the business is tied in to.

If your business does occupy a commercial property (individually or shared) separate from your main residence, you may be eligible for a larger grant – up to £3000.

To summarise, eligible businesses (or charitable organizations) must either be outside of the business rates system and required to close or be able to demonstrate that they have been severely impacted within the period.
