Join the Cyber Readiness Institute and the University of Kent for a webinar on the easy steps employees can take to make the workplace cyber secure. In this talk, they will look into some of the human aspects of ransomware. They will cover a bit of background, ransomware deployment techniques, characteristics, and responses. They will then explore the different designs of ransomware splash screens (ransom notes), to see how they might impact potential victims. For a lot of small to medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), the pandemic has already disrupted the way they work and put them at risk of cyberattacks. Now, with many organizations pushing back dates to return to the workplace, the need to make their organizations cyber secure is even greater.
