Join the Cyber Readiness Institute and The University of Kent for a webinar on ransomware and cybersecurity for business.
Protecting your organization isn’t just about technology. Learn how businesses can build a foundation for cybersecurity. Join the Cyber Readiness Institute and the University of Kent for a webinar on the easy steps employees can take to make the workplace cyber secure. In this talk, they will look into some of the human aspects of ransomware. They will cover a bit of background, ransomware deployment techniques, characteristics, and responses. They will then explore the different designs of ransomware splash screens (ransom notes), to see how they might impact potential victims. For a lot of small to medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), the pandemic has already disrupted the way they work and put them at risk of cyberattacks. Now, with many organizations pushing back dates to return to the workplace, the need to make their organizations cyber secure is even greater.
This is an online talk that will take place on the 5th of May at 10 am (EST)/3 pm (BST).
Budi Arief, Senior Lecturer at the University of Kent’s School of Computing
Lessie Longstreet, Global Director of Outreach and Partner Engagement, Cyber Readiness Institute.
