Join this extremely informative session, led by Export and Import Adviser Graham Card, Kent Invicta Chamber of Commerce Principle Trading Standards Officer Nathan Martin, Kent Trading Standards and VAT Specialist Sue Rathmell, MHA MacIntyre Hudson who will discuss selling to consumers in the EU.

Whilst there has been a lot of attention on the VAT and customs impact of Brexit on B2B sales of goods, B2C sellers of both goods and services are also impacted by change. UK VAT rules changed from 1 January 2021 and from 1 July 2021 sweeping VAT changes in Europe will have a major impact on how UK businesses account for VAT when selling to consumers in the EU.

This event will cover:

  • CE marks and trading with the EU. What changes? what doesn’t?
  • Divergence with the EU. How likely and what will be the impact or opportunity? Can we safeguard ourselves?
  • Certs of Conformity and global trade

Learn what this will mean for UK businesses and how you can prepare for the changes so that you can continue to sell to consumers without a hitch.

During the session there will be plenty of opportunities to ask your own questions too.
