EVENT SUMMARY

South East Careers aims to connect local employers with job seekers and future professionals in the region. They aim to highlight growing industries, including the following: Agriculture, environmental and animal care; Construction; Creative and cultural ; Digital and ICT; Engineering and manufacturing,; Finance; Health and social care; Logistics; and Visitor Economy. The event will host some key speakers, covering current topics in employability such as: The future of work; and how are industry sectors, jobs and technologies going to change in the years to come. The event is free for both attendees and employers / exhibitors.

TARGET AUDIENCE

The event will run over two days, tailored to respective audiences. On the 19th of October we are hosting for young people aged 15+, targeting schools and colleges within the region, and on the 21st of October we are hosting for adult job seekers or those looking to change careers.

WHAT THE TEAM WOULD LIKE TO SEE AT THE BOOTH

Tangible and existing opportunities for the attendees. These could include: Open positions you are looking to fill, work experience (in-person or virtual), internships, apprenticeships, undergraduate or post-graduate placements, mentoring, and so on.

Presentations about upcoming business opportunities or large projects within the industries listed above.

Clarification whether your content applies to both audiences, or just one or the other.

Possibility for attendees to engage with your content, such as: discovering opportunities, proceeding to applications, and speaking with a representative from your business.

A representative to be at the stand for the duration of the event.
