Safeguarding Businesses in Kent from Cyber Threat

In December 2023, the UK parliamentary Joint Committee on the National Security Strategy issued a report by the authority of the House of Commons and the House of Lords titled “A Hostage to Fortune – Ransomware and UK National Security“.

In the first few opening lines of the report, it makes the following statement –

“Due to its potential ability to bring the UK to a standstill, ransomware has been identified by UK authorities as the number one cyber threat to the nation”.

Cyber threats are now a common everyday business risk, and at Towergate, we know a cyber incident can happen at any time.
