The UK is number one in the world for offshore wind power generation in terms of installed capacity. As part of the Inn2POWER consortium, Kent County Council is able to offer Kent SMEs the chance to attend for FREE a Greater South East Offshore Wind Conference and B2B Networking Session on Thursday 29^th November 2018. At this event at the Ashford International Hotel, they will be able to hear from RenewableUK for the latest updates on the status and growth of the UK offshore wind market, its importance within the national energy mix, and expertise and innovation within the UK supply chain.

This will be followed by presentations from industry leading offshore wind developers and key supply chain companies on their supply chain requirements and priorities for innovation. Speakers include our event sponsors Vattenfall presenting key updates on their forthcoming UK projects and how to get involved in their supply chain for projects including the Thanet Extension, the Norfolk Vanguard and the Norfolk Boreas set to deliver a combined capacity of 3.9GW Offshore Wind power to the UK grid once completed.
