Kent Business School, in partnership with Kent Law School, Girlings Solicitors and Girlings Personal Injury Claims has the pleasure of inviting you to a Business Soundbites networking event on breaking down barriers to achieve professional success. The event is held at the Gulbenkian Theatre on the Canterbury campus.
The rationale for the event is the centenary of the Sex Disqualification (Removal) Act 1919, which paved the way for movement towards equality for women in the workplace. At the event we celebrate six female professionals working in different sectors, who have each broken down barriers to be successful in their careers. Our six story-tellers will share their personal journeys with the audience in an intimate setting. No notes, no slides and no CV summaries. These are stories from the heart, shared with others to inspire, encourage reflection and maybe even sow the seeds for change?
