You’ve come to the right place! For one day only The Kent Foundation, a charity specialising in supporting young people aged 30 and under in business in Kent will be hitting Chatham.

It’s offer to you is a free, engaging, practical and hands on workshop designed to provide you with a solid foundation for starting or growing your business. By teaming up with us you can also gain access to free ongoing support through our trained and experienced volunteer business mentors.

The venue, is in a super convenient location too with parking, railway station and bus links all close by.

• Why are you starting a business?
• Business Networking – What is it and how can you use it to your advantage?
• Idea generation
• Managing your business
• Building a business plan – What does one even look like?
• What’s your status? Well have a chat about your legal status, tax and your business name.
• Think about your branding
• Marketing your business – Who are your customers? What’s their profile? How and where will they buy from you?
• Pitching and Presenting your business. Explaining your business…concisely!

Is it formal? Definitely not, we take a relaxed approach to our workshops so there will be plenty of conversations and chances for you to ask any burning questions.

Want to bring a friend along? We’re more than happy for you to do so, just get them to sign up too so we know who’s coming.

Who can attend? Anyone aged 30 and under from Chatham, Medway or Kent. The workshop is perfect for any one who has a business idea, anyone who has just started or if you’re running a business – use it as a refresher to promote creativity.
